"If only I could be the person my dog thinks I am"

We at Pets a Go Go believe in giving back!  We are so honored every day to be able to care for so many wonderful animals that we thought it was time to put a focus on some animals in need. Our yearly goal is to get five animals adopted a year through our personal efforts; and while it may be a small goal, we know our clients and friends will help us meet (or exceed) it!  Please take a look below and see who we're spotlighting right now. Please contact us and we will give you more info on any of the four legged friends you see on this page.  Also if you decide to adopt any of these loving animals you will receive a free week of 30 minute walks or two free pet sits courtesy of Pets a Go Go !

** FYI!!!!! Pets A Go Go is now helping the Elmsford Animal Shelter collect much needed pet food in the month of JULY! If you would like to donate something please contact our office and we can let you know what is on their wish list!

Henny came to the Briarcliff SPCA (914)941-2896 as a stray. This sweet guy looks a llittle skinny - but EVERYONE is working on that. He walks well on a leash and loves to be around people. Come by and spend some time with him! PLEASE GIVE THIS GUY A CHANCE, HE IS A FAVORITE OF OUR ENTIRE STAFF!!!!!!!

****UPDATE**** Henny has gained ten pounds and is beginning hip therapy this week. Looks like this little guy has nothing but sunshine and rainbows to look forward to this Spring. Why not share those with him?

Marlo is a handsome 1 year old neutered black and white Pitbull mix. He's a fiesty guy who came to us as a work in progress. In addition to house training, he needs to learn leash manners and basic commands. Marlo is, the perfect choice if you want an active, affectionate hiking companion or all around best friend. If you like to laugh and play, Marlo's your boy. Please contact  Elmsford Animal Shelter 914-592-7362 07/07/09

Kevin is an 8 month old neutered tan Amstaff mix. This youngster is easygoing, even-tempered, and extremely sociable. He's a pup seemingly mature and intellegent byond his years or, in this case, months. Having come to us as a stray kevin is an unknown as far as housetraining is concerned. However he does well on leash and responds to correction, so we know he'll be a quick study. Kevin would make an excellent family pet. Please contact  Elmsford Animal Shelter 914-592-7362 07/07/09

"Bobtail Bob" is one of our volunteer dog walkers' favorite.  You can see Bob at the shelter or at one of our off-site events.  We call him "Bobtail Bob" because he is missing his tail.  We do not know how this happened- but it does not make him any less of a dog.  Bob is a handsome shepherd mix, about 6 years old with a moderate amount of energy.  He loves going for walks in the woods and he is content just being in the company of people.  Overall, Bob is a very happy and responsive dog who needs a loving new home, preferably with no children under the age of 12. Please contact Briarcliff SPCA 914-941-2896 07/07/09

Junior- They say I'm lucky I'm cute! I guess they are talking about how "spirited" I can be! You know that devilish twinkle :) Truth be told, my previous owners didn't take the time to teach me manners so sometimes I have a hard time containing my enthusiam. The good news is, my trainer at the SPCA says I am VERY smart and that I learn very quickly! I have learned sit, down and I am working on walking nicely on my leash. I LOVE playing with other dogs too. I am about 9 months old. I hear them say that I have great potential so my new owners are going to have to be willing to continue teaching me. If you think you are that person, please come by and take a chance on me! Please contact Briarcliff SPCA 914-941-2896 07/07/09
